Exclusion of liability
Due to the technical characteristics of the Internet, VINCI Energies Switzerland Ltd cannot offer any guarantee with respect to the completeness and accuracy of the information provided.
Note on the problem of external cross-references/links
As a content provider, VINCI Energies Switzerland Ltd is responsible for its own content, which it makes available for use, in accordance with general legislation. A distinction must be made between the company’s own contents and cross-references/links to content provided by others.
VINCI Energies Switzerland Ltd therefore makes third-party content available for use through cross-references. It is only responsible for such external content if it has positive knowledge of them, i.e. including their illegal or criminal content, and if it is technically possible and reasonable for it to prevent their use.
However, cross-references are always dynamic in nature. VINCI Energies Switzerland Ltd checks the external content at the time of the initial linking to determine whether it could give rise to possible civil or criminal liability. However, according to the law, it is not obliged to constantly check the content to which it refers in its offer for changes. Only if VINCI Energies Switzerland Ltd discovers or is informed by others that a specific offer to which it has made a reference triggers civil and/or criminal liability will it immediately remove the reference to this offer, insofar as this is technically possible and reasonable.
